Today they arrive in whatever shape the supplier keeps them in. Some have a library of clean PDFs. Others photograph a page and write the rest in the message body.

In Engrama the shape is the request’s, not the supplier’s: what a specification has to contain is declared once and enforced on every one that comes back.

This job closes per line. A specification you can quote from either exists or does not, and the difference is a list of fields rather than an opinion.

The order matters because the specification and the price arrive from the same supplier and almost never in the same message.

Some of them are a detail a machine can read: a model number, a unit, whether a photograph is attached. Some of them are not. Whether the variant offered is the one your customer specified is a judgment.
